Robert D. Hough, 18, of Byesville, was reported in critical condition Tuesday night in Guernsey Memorial hospital, Cambridge, as the result of his automobile crashing head-on into a semi-trailer on US 21, two miles south of Pleasant City in Noble county at 10:25 a.m. According to the highway patrol, Hough's southbound car passed another auto which was slowing to permit one semi-truck to pass another. Hough crashed into the second semi which was driven by John Hughes, 34, of Marietta. The driver of the first semi that had passed Hughes apparently did not know of the accident for he failed to stop, the patrol said. The patrol was continuing its investigation.
