LATEST FROM SWEDEN.
New York, June 16.
The ship Superior, captain Collin, arrived at this port yesterday from Gottenburgh, from whence she sailed on the 20th April. Capt. C. informs us that the Crown Prince of Sweden, Bernadotte, was at Stockholm. It was generally understood at Gottenburgh that Sweden would not enter into the contest which it was expected was approaching; but would keep up a formidable force to protect its own neutrality, or to act according to any new circumstances which may arise.
