PERSONALS.
Sheriff Raum arrived in town last night en route from Carson for Pogonip.
Mr. and Mrs. Buck Davis go below this morning.
Mr. H. Muller, of Paxton & Co., returned from California by last night's train.
J. Tr. Marchant, Postmaster at Palisade, still lingers in town, renewing assurances with his numerous friends.
Mr. W. L. Davis, editor of the White Pine News, came over from Hamilton last evening by private conveyance. He will remain on the Base Range a couple of days.
Canavan, the foot racer, left for Leeds yesterday morning. It is rumored that Major Dennis will follow him in a day or two. If there is any one thing that the Major will put up his bottom dollar on it is a foot race.
