The Co-Operative Trades and Labor Council met Tuesday night in regular session, President Lee Inman presided, and twenty delegates were present.
The credentials of Brother Arthur Byrd, to represent Painters, Paper Hangers and Decorators' Union No. 135, were read, received and delegate installed. Brother Byrd will fill the unexpired term of Brother Frank Holt, deceased.
Roll call indicated that Brother Ed Dulli, treasurer, is still confined to his home with an injured knee.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
A communication was read from the community Christmas committee, John F. Mayer, vice chairman, in which they ask that Trades Council give its co-operation in clearing names of needy families so that duplication will be avoided. On motion the communication was received and ordered complied with.
A communication was read from the Salvation Army in which they appealed for a donation to assist them in their Christmas work. The communication on motion was received.
A communication was read from the Cigar Makers' Co-Operative Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. The company calls attention to their line of Christmas cigars, the Three C's. Cigmaco, Cigmaco Brevis and the N. T. M. Frank A. Mooar, a member of local Metal Polishers' Union, is the agent for the above cigars in Hamilton.

All bills presented were allowed.
The machinists reported that they have no work.
Milk and ice cream wagon drivers reported that their organization is in good shape, and the White Cross and National firms are still non-union.
The Dilg Dairy is now fair. So far the organization has not signed up with the new Hyland Park Dairy on Ross avenue. The four former members of the union who are operating this dairy will not agree to sign up with the organization. Delegates of the Milk Drivers' Union asked the co-operation of the delegates to patronize only union drivers. They further reported that the milk sold in Kroger stores is non-union.
Metal polishers reported very little work.
Molders 68 reported organization in good shape, but nobody working.
Musicians reported organization in splendid condition, and they are trying to organize two non-union orchestras.
Delegate of Painters' Union asked that a committee be appointed to call on the management of the Paramount Theatre. They report that the Paramount Theatre is having sign work done by non-union painters. Committees from the painters have waited on the management several times without results.
Pattern makers reported that some of their members are working.
Plasterers report no work.
Dance committee was allowed more time to make their report.
Trustees reported that they have secured the size of the advertising cards which are proposed for the hall on the first floor. The council voted that any person soliciting the advertising would get nothing in return.
Stanley Ogg went to Columbus Monday and assisted in filing the petitions for the proposed old age pension bill which will be introduced in the next legislature.
Charles Hosea suggested that the council look into the matter of introducing script money in this city to stimulate business. The secretary was instructed to write Prof. Liererson, of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, for information concerning script money.
NON-PARTISAN Campaign Committee to Meet
Charles Hosea, chairman of the local non-partisan political campaign committee, notified the council delegates that a meeting will be held the first Friday night in January. All delegates to this committee are requested to be there.
