A Fishing-Smack, or Well-Boat, belonging to Philadelphia, lately brought in here for Sale a great Number of Tortuga; which being a Sort of Fish very scarce in the Place, a Number of Gentlemen purchased a Quantity of them alive and turned them over into the Harbour, that they might propagate their Species there; by which Means this Town may in Time be as plentifully supplied with that as it is with most other Kinds of Fish.

It is hoped, that whoever happens to catch any of those Fish, for the present will return them to their Element, to promote the same good Design.
