John Drake has enlisted in the regular army.

Miss Gertrude Calder and Miss Birch spent Sunday with Mrs. Eugene Clarke.

Mrs. Charles Knight, and children, from Providence are staying with Mrs. A. B. Drake.

Mr. and Mrs. Israel W. Brayton, from Fiskeville, visited at Benjamin Wood's, Thursday.

Mr. John Yeaw and John W. Yeaw from Cranston visited relatives here one day last week.

Mrs. Susan D. Paine from Providence is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Myra Clough at the Big Oak Farm.

Mrs. H. C. Gorton and Avery Gorton of Providence, spent the day recently with Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Clarke.

Miss Mary Fisher, Miss Ada, Florrie and Master Walter Joslin from the city, spent a part of last week with Mrs. Mark Phillips.
