Again, we take the pen, dear readers, in an attempt to bring you interesting gossip from here and there and elsewhere. Our friend, Robert Gervin, has been quite busy during the past few days and does not find it possible to write today. Now, let's see what's the latest.
SCOOPS
Lately, your writer finds the younger social problem quite complicating so far as love and romance is concerned. It seems as if each lad and lass is trying to see how many admirers he or she can get on his or her string. During my weekly journey to different sections of the city I was informed that: William (Dyke) Fuller, ardent playboy of Lab Hi, constantly keeps young female hearts fluttering in a passion of courtship. Lydell Taylor, cute little Clarkite, and the romantic Frank Seals are about to start the flame to burning. Pretty Bertha Lee Johnson and "Weasel" are a most charming couple on Clark campus. Nora Mae Patrick and Cater Hill decided to let there be no other one. Harold Grimmett, popular Morehouse lad, says that it will be petite Erma Coleman or no one. Ernest Lyons, B. T. W. high school sheik, thinks that darling Juanita Thomas loves him only and truly. We hope his thoughts are right. Darling Anita Shaw and John Gill have really made a swell go of it. Wonder will he escort her to the surprise birthday party tomorrow? Lovely Roberta Cherry has bid all high school lads adieu and gone collegiate. He is none other than one of Clark University's famous sons, the mighty "Shag" Wainwright. Morris Brown college playboys, such as Henry Fuller, Ernest Norwood, Nathaniel Ingram and George Linder, orate that all the pretty girls are theirs, so don't link them with no special ones.
