The brig mentioned in our last to be ashore on the south-side of Long-Island, proves to be from Dublin in ballast, and is entirely lost, and all the crew drowned. In a chest that was drove ashore, a pocket book was found; with a shipping paper therein, with the following names thereto, viz. John Conry, Master; Michael Cannon, Mate; John Timothy Carpenter; Joseph Reily, Richard Beresford, Joseph Burke, William Bowden, and William Arter. Three of the dead bodies were taken upon the Beach last Wednesday, much cut and bruised with the Ice.
