Mrs John Cone, president of the Lake County Home Demonstration club, announces the achievement day program will be held in the Ronan Masonic temple dining room, Friday, June 29, starting at 11 a.m. with registration. Hostess clubs will be the Lake City Garden and extension club and the Das Lakers club.
The individual clubs will set up exhibits of their accomplishments for the year. Members are asked to bring a sack lunch for which coffee will be furnished.
The Mountain View club will be in charge of the program which is scheduled to start at 12:45 p.m. It will include a tape recording on the USDA and Land Grant colleges, to be operated by Don Gill, Assistant County agent. Mrs Brooke of Polson will give a demonstration on cake decorating. A dress revue will be held with Mrs Robert Hamel of St. Ignatius the narrator.
A special feature of the day will be the attendance of the members of the Triangle Women's Institute of Grassmere, Canada, who have exchanged visits with the local club for many years.
The public is invited to attend and to view the exhibits, Mrs Conne said.
