HIGH SCHOOL CARNIVAL

The students of the Tucumcari High School offer the public an evening of fun and entertainment on Friday evening February 27, 1914. The program is in the nature of a Carnival or the "Old Time" Fair.

A variety of spicy attractions will be offered, including a literary program, a vaudeville, side shows galore, refreshment stands, guessing contests, fortune tellers, photo gallery, baby show, and many other novelty features listed elsewhere in this issue of the News.

Admission at the door is charged according to weight of the individual seeking admission, at the rate of ten cents per hundred pounds or fraction thereof. The general admission does not admit one to side shows or novelty features, but is good for the literary program, the Spanish Play, and all attractions of a general nature.

Many pieces of manual training work will be sold at auction. You should have one or more of these by all means. Cakes, pies, and other good things to eat will also be sold at the close of the Carnival. So be sure to bring your pocket book, or bring a friend who has a purse large enough for two.
