The prayers of all the good people in the Borough, are requested in behalf of Corporal Harker, that the poor fellow may be restored to the use of what little portion of reason and calmness of temper he once possessed, and which his late disappointment and exposure have entirely deprived him of.
Corporal Harker's hypocritical and lame apology in his Gazette of Tuesday has rendered him still more contemptible in the eyes of a community who understand the moving springs of the Corporal's proceedings in regard to the late Borough election.
