Dedication of Remodeled Church.

Next Sunday will be a red letter day at the Corunna Avenue M. E. church, for on that day will be held the dedication services of the remodeled and redecorated edifice. In the morning, the pastor, Rev. E. W. Foster, will be assisted in the service by Rev. Thomas Towler, and in the evening service by Rev. C. E. Doty of the Corunna M. E. church, whose congregation will accompany him.

The church now presents a pleasing appearance, and is a source of gratification to the committees having the work in charge. The building has been newly painted, reshingled, and a new entrance built, while the interior has been redecorated throughout, and new floor covering, a cork carpet, laid. The choir loft has been enlarged and a panel frontage built. A new bell will be placed in the tower, a result of the efforts of Superintendent John VanHoten and the Sunday school, and it is expected the bell will ring forth for the first time, Sunday. Plans are also under way for completing the basement, which will be used by the Sunday school.

Sunday will also mark the closing of the conference year, Rev. Mr. Foster leaving Tuesday to attend the conference which will be held at Port Huron. The year has been a successful one spiritually and financially. The church membership has been increased about 70 per cent, and many conversions are reported.

Following are the boards and committees appointed for the ensuing conference year, for both the Corunna Avenue and Kelly churches:
