The propositions of peace spoken of about town with great confidence, are, that reparation shall be made to the French Nation for all captures taken by the English before the formal declaration of war, together with all expences and charges accruing thereupon: That the English shall not, for a certain number of years, hereafter to be mentioned, give any let or hindrance to such troops of the French nation as may be on the island of Corsica: That all the moveable valuables acquired in Germany shall be unaccounted for: These articles being agreed upon, Minorca is to be restored, but under certain limitations.
