Program Last Friday Afternoon in Charge of Mrs. Howard R. Jones
The program given at the 20th Century Club on November 15, was in keeping with the spirit of "America's Education Week." Mrs. H. R. Jones, chairman of Education, read an instructive and informing paper on "Schools, and the many lines of education employed, also, giving statistics to show the great advancement made. A piano solo was given by Mrs. H. C. Webb. A very unusual and entertaining program is being prepared to celebrate the anniversary of Johan Strauss, Jr. Mrs. T. H. Coverdale has charge, and will render a program that is sure to entertain and please all. Do not forget the book for the library at the new building for women at Greenbank--bring to Club or send to Mrs. Harry Jones. On November 29, the program will be in charge of the Board of Directors, who are preparing for an interesting day. At this time the money that has been made by the club members during the summer, will be paid in, and for each dollar a share of stock will be given.
