Mr. R. Lishman met with a painful though not serious accident on Sunday afternoon. Himself and daughter with a child were driving on the Pawaa road, when one of the hind wheels of the wagon came off through the dropping of a nut, causing the wagon to tip and throwing Mr. Lishman to the ground, severely bruising his face and shoulder. The horse started to gallop, but being a quiet animal, soon moderated its pace, and Miss Lishman, after lifting the child to the ground over the tail of the wagon, jumped safely to the ground herself. The horse was secured without further damage.
