White River Valley Post No. 1741

White River Valley Post is pleased to report a very successful drive for cigarettes which have been shipped overseas to the boys in service. We have cards from three boys acknowledging receipt of a carton of cigarettes.

District Commander Payne and District Inspector Jones made an official visit to our Post.

On Sunday, December 19, a special meeting was held with the Auxiliary, who graciously put on a enjoyable feed for all present. Those members who did not come missed one of the best meetings we have had in years.

Remember, for the duration, we are meeting on the first Tuesday and the third Sunday afternoon of each month. Would like to see more members present in the future.
