WINNING FALL—Stocky Koji Yamada of Seattle is shown throwing Dick Yamasaki, also of Seattle, for the winning fall in the first post-war Northwest invitational judo tournament held Sunday at Nisei Vets Memorial clubhouse. By virtue of his victory, Yamada was acclaimed champion in the Seinen Yudanshakai division and earned the initial leg of the perpetual trophy.
