LEGHORN, Italy (NNPA)-The number of colored troops in the Mediterranean theatre now total 2,446, according to latest figures in a troop list published by Peninsular Base Section headquarters, to which all except two colored units in the MTO are assigned or attached.

The troop list dated as of June 15, showed 188 colored officers, 8 colored warrant officers and 1,743 colored enlisted men in units augmented by 507 replacements who arrived on the S. S. Wilson Victory, June 20.
