Quarterly Meeting.—The labors of the Quarterly Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church of this Circuit, closed on Sunday night, after a session of three days; the Presiding Elder, Rev. N. Talley, having in the forenoon administered the Holy Sacrament to a goodly number of brethren, including several of different denominations—a custom reounding to the honor of the Methodist Church, for it is not their Supper, but the Lord's, at which every christian should join and partake. Towards the close of the meeting, the Ministers had the satisfaction of witnessing large and attentive audiences; and although there were no public manifestations of the out-pouring of the Spirit in the hearts of the people, we believe that many felt the weight of their sins, who laboring under this deep impression, will ere long come out from among the wicked, and enroll their names in God's Holy Church. There is a change for the better in Hamburg, in some shape or other, and if the good cause is carried out, it will not be long before we behold a mighty and powerful shaking among sinners, asking, "what shall we do to be saved?"

The next Quarterly Conference meets at Aiken, S. C., on the 4th of August next.—Hamburg Journal.
