BOSTON. September 23

On Thursday Morning came on for Tryal before the Superior Court at Worcester, the Action of Trespass brought by Ebenezer Cutler of Oxford, Plaintiff, against Robert Pierpont and Caleb Davis, Defendants--- The Damages he demanded were 2000 lawful Money. We hear the Cause was closed by Mr. Josiah Quincy for the Defendants, and by the Attorney-General for the Plaintiff, the Day following--- When the Cause was committed to the Jury, who agreed in about 8 Hours, and brought in their Verdict on Saturday in Favour of both the Defendants.
