Fire at Beallsville destroyed the cemetery house in the Monocacy Cemetery. The wind was blowing very hard, and sparks from the burning building set fire to several other buildings close by. The cemetery house was occupied by Mr. Devilbiss, keeper of the cemetery. The fire is supposed to have caught from a defective flue.
