ELEVENTH INFANTRY HOME FROM COAST.

The ten companies, headquarters and band of the Eleventh United States infantry, which was sent to the coast shortly after the earthquake and fire at San Francisco, as a part of the military regime of that city, passed through Laramie last Saturday, on its way to Fort Russell, its proper station.

The regiment occupied two special trains. The band played several airs on the depot platform here, and twenty-two of the officers took breakfast at the Union Pacific hotel. Many of the members of the regiment are known here, and they were met on the depot platform by their Laramie acquaintances. The troops had a very pleasant trip across the country, and are glad to be back to Wyoming.
