Public a preliminary report of his legislative interim committee's auditors concerning treasury affairs.

Propriety of releasing the report had been challenged by Finance Director A. E. Stockburger and Assemblyman C. C. Cottrell, a member of the committee.

"I am glad to give the committee or chairman or any auditor any help I can in investigation of state affairs and I have no objection to disclosing what they find," the Governor said,

"Publicity of governmental affairs is the best guarantee against unsatisfactory service."
