All Continued Cases To Be Expedited Faster Now, Hinkle States.
The Unemployment Compensation Claims division of the United States Employment Service, has initiated a stepped-up move in order to more quickly serve continued UCC claims. Harold M. Hinkle, manager, announced yesterday.
The move came shortly on the heels of a recently announced campaign to furnish employment to veteran servicemen, Miss Hilda W. Gordon, Senior Interviewer, employed by the united states office said the entire personnel of UCC will strive to make the service to continued and new applicants as pleasant and quick as possible.
To Handle Claims
John T. Totton, interviewer with James I. Holderfield, another interviewer, will handle the continued claims applications as they come into the office, according to Miss Gordon.
Assisting in the newly-announced stepped up program will be Miss Gordon, A. Roland Perry, who will handle the self-employed veterans, J. Douglas Shooter, who will handle the new veterans who are unemployed, and W. P. Widenhouse, interviewer who will also handle new UCC claims.
Staff Addition
Recently added to the staff of the UCC department is Mrs. Maybelle G. Dupree, who is in charge of processing claims for itinerant points.
"Although this is the original plan for speeding up the service to continued and new UCC claimants, there may from time to time be slight changes made, in order to more efficiently and quickly serve the ever-increasing number of applicants," Miss Gordon said.
