SECOND-HAND MARRIAGE LICENSE FOR SALE
(By United Press Leased Wire.)
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 1.- County Clerk Harry Leland today has a perfectly good second-hand marriage license for sale, marked down to $1.98. It came from Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Woodward, who secured a license here and then decided to get married in San Diego. A note from Woodward asked for the return of the license fee of $2, "less postage." Woodward's change of mind, however, will cost him $2 because the law makes no provision for refunding marriage license fees.
