C. V. Stevens, engineer in charge
of the construction of the new
Federal Bldg., has announced that
bids will be accepted until 4 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 26th, for the moving
of furniture and equipment from
the old Federal Building to the
new building and hauling the new
furniture from the dock to the
new building.
Bids are also being accepted for
"cleaning, operation and maintenance
service" in the new building, until
4 p.m., Oct. 10th.
It was understood that this contract
could average about $30,000 to
$40,000 per year.
Bids are to be submitted to Mr.
Stevens at Room 106 in the old
Federal Building.
