Douglasville

DOUGLASVILLE Services were held at St James AME Church Sunday. Rev. Hicks is pastor. Services were also held at Mt Zion Church Sunday. The Loyalty program was extended until Sunday, December 4th at 8:00 p m at Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Mr and Mrs James Wills of Atlanta, Mrs. Arnold and daughter of Atlanta were guests of their cousin, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Barber Sunday.

Mr. Harvey Smith of Atlanta was guest of his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Smith and Miss Ruby Long.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cato and daughters, Betty Joe and Brenda Denese and Mr. and Mrs. James Cato of Carrollton visited with their cousin. Mr and Mrs. W. H Hamock Sunday.

Mrs. Vassie Mae Clark and little son of Atlanta spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. James Parker and family.

Mr. Frank Henry, Mr. John Adams Clark, Mr. John Etterson, Mr. Lovard Hamock and Mr. Moran Johnson attended the Shriners turn out in Atlanta Saturday and Sunday.

Misses Ruby and Edress Long attended the Thanksgiving football game in Atlanta.

Mrs. Grace Armstrong, Mrs. Vassie Mae Clark and little son of Atlanta, Mr. and Mrs. James Parker and daughters, Alice and Louise spent Sunday in Rome, Ga. with their cousin and niece. Mr. and Mrs. John Whitehead and family.

Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Springer spent Thanksgiving with their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs James Parker and family.
