RECORD BREAKING CROWD
IS EXPECTED THURSDAY
Blue skies, a bracing atmosphere, fair crowds and a fine programme of entertainment served to make the opening day of the Fourteenth Annual Meet of the Great Elkins Fair Tuesday a splendid success. With the splendid educational exhibit from the West Virginia University, fine displays of the products of farm and field, a remarkably successful aeroplane flight and two interesting harness races no criticism could be offered of the attractions presented to the patrons of the Fair this year.
Today's programme will be even better, and immense crowds are gathered at the grounds, despite the threatening clouds of the early morning hours. Tomorrow's card likewise will be a great one, and the weather permitting a record breaking attendance is expected.
