Forty Persons Read COOPERATOR; Ask To Work for Co-ops

The COOPERATOR's office cat, Polly Sillybelle, was purring happily as this issue of the paper went to bed. Peeking over the shoulder of Carl Eck, Midland's personnel man who works in the next office, she discovered that 40 applications for cooperative work were in the first batch of responses to the COOPERATOR story last issue that co-ops need employees.

Carl was happy, too, like a supply officer with a hungry battalion who hears that the food is finally coming through. Among the 40 initial applicants whose replies landed on his desk, some were for office work, some for station and store employment, some for feed mill operation. And several potential managers turned up.

Those seeking cooperative employment--may their tribe increase!--are again asked to do this:

Drop a post card to Carl Eck, Midland Personnel, 739 N.E. Johnson St., Minneapolis, asking for a preliminary application for cooperative work. Just that, no more. Sign your name and address, and an application will go out to you immediately. That gets the matter going and co-op managers and boards will soon be examining your applications and others in order to make their selections. Let Carl Eck hear from you today!
