Denver Interurbans Crash When Conductor Fails To Get Orders.

Denver, Col.—Eleven persons were killed and upwards of fifty were injured near Globeville, a suburb, when an outbound special train on the Denver and interurban railway carrying pleasure seekers to El Dorado Springs, Colo., a mountain resort, crashed into a heavily loaded interurban train coming to Denver from Boulder, Colo.

According to officials in charge of the Globeville station, the conductor of the outbound car failed to obtain orders to wait at Globeville for the incoming car.

When the cars struck they plowed into each other for a distance of 15 feet.
