This office is in receipt of a letter from E. H. Whelan, formerly superintendent of the O'Neill Public Schools and later county attorney and prominent member of the Holt county bar, enclosing a renewal of his subscription to The Frontier. Mr. Whelan is now a resident of San Diego, Calif., where he is practicing law, being the senior member of the firm of Whelan & Whelan, the other members of the firm being his two sons, Vincent A. and Francis C. Ed. sent his kindest regards to all his old friends in this city and county.
