We learn from Drogheda, in Ireland, that a few Days ago, a Gentleman of Distinction within Five Miles of that Place, going to look at some Workmen in his Field, found them in the utmost Confusion, having been struck to the Ground, and very much scorched with Lightning that happened a little Time before; upon which he returned to his House, where Two Servant Maids lay at the Door with their Skin cut in many Places as with a Knife; several Dishes were melted on the Shelves, the Wainscot of a whole Chamber entirely destroyed, and a Gun that was charged in the same Room broke in many Pieces.
