CHILD KILLED
MENNO AUTO DRIVER RUNS OVER SIX-YEAR-OLD BOY PLAYING IN ROAD,

Menno, Dec. 6.--Because he tried to run across a road in front of an automobile the 6-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Diede, living near here, lost his life. He was struck and run over by an automobile driven by C. H. Kirschenmann, who is said to have been running at a moderate rate of speed at the time of the accident. It is claimed the unfortunate little fellow dashed in front of the automobile so unexpectedly that there was no time to stop the machine before it struck him. Himself and several other boys were playing in the road when the accident occurred.
