Need there be stronger evidence of the criminal attachment of the federal prints to the cause of the enemy, than the eagerness with which they publish the vilest falsehoods respecting the conduct of the American troops, while they palliate and openly excuse, or preserve a total silence on, the enormities of Britain? Most of them have not even (for instance) mentioned the late Outrageous and dastardly proceedings of the enemy at Wareham, when they landed and committed all their depredations under the sanctity of a flag of truce, and compelled their prisoners, whom they had arrested in defiance of every civilized principle, to form a shield against the fire of their fellow citizens.
