We are informed that Capt. Griffiths, of the Wilmot, arrived from St. Christophers, was chas'd by a Spanish Man of War of 50 Guns. the Day after he left the Island, and obliged to bring too: he was then boarded, and every Part of his Ship examined. in order to find Contraband Goods; but not finding any, they thought proper to let him go. While they were on board, they told him in an Insolent Manner. that they would search every English Ship they met with. --- Power gives Cowards Courage. ----- Sure they will be obliged to change that Note Soon.
