Rich Placer Deposits Found in
Yuma County

The Yuma Sentinel says: "As we go to press a private letter from Kofa brings the news that considerable excitement has been prevalent in the King of Arizona camp for the past week owing to the discovery of rich placer ground about a mile from the camp.

Five men with one dry washer took out $13 apiece in a day. The ground is said to be much richer than any placer ground heretofore uncovered in Arizona, and a big rush for the fields is anticipated when the facts become known."
