BuPers ALNAV Plans for Officer Selection Boards

A recent BuPers ALNAV announces plans for the convening of officer selection boards for the remainder of this fiscal year.

The schedule is as follows: about 1 March, Naval Reserve officers on active duty and also those not on active duty to the grades of captain and commander; in April, Regular and Reserve officers on active duty to lieutenant commander and lieutenant; in May, Naval Reserve officers not on active duty to lieutenant commander and lieutenant.

Eligible Naval Reserve officers include those senior to the junior USN officer in each zone.

Those placed on the inactive status list prior to the convening of the boards are not eligible.

Further information regarding dates and zones will be published in a forthcoming edition of the Navy Department Bulletin.
