JEFFERSON DAY
Banquet Program Is Complete-Eloquent Speakers Will Make Addresses.

Alliance, March 29.-The arrangements are now completed for the Jefferson day banquet, at the Hotel Alliance, on the evening of April 2. The Woods-King Harp orchestra will furnish music. Attorney E. W. Diehl has been selected as toastmaster. A number of guests from out of the city will attend.

It is the intention of the local Democracy to make this the largest and best banquet ever held by the party in this section of the state.

Many inquiries for tickets have already been made which is an indication that about all the available space at the hotel will be required to accommodate the guests. The tickets have been placed on sale at the Mowrer and Diver drug stores and can be procured at any time. The program of speakers has been carefully prepared by the committee.

The menu shows that there will be something good to eat as well as a feast of eloquence. The following is the menu:

It is a great disappointment to many that B. F. Weybrecht will be unable to be present and take a place among the speakers. Mr. Weybrecht will be in Washington, D. C., looking after the movement for a government building for Alliance, however, the gathering has a selection of eloquent orators engaged. The following is the program:

Toastmaster, Edwin W. Diehl. "Jefferson." John C. Welty, of Canton; "Democracy's Opportunity." Prof. C. E. Oliver, East Palestine, O.; "Public Office a Public Trust." Charles Krichbaum, Canton; "The Future of Democracy." Thos. McNamara, Youngstown.
