Full Text

A Dog's Observance or Intuition.

Some days ago George Stillwell, of Grafton, brought his team here from that place and has been engaged in hauling at the West End. His black shepherd dog came along with him and followed the team for two days around the various streets of the city. The third morning at 9 o'clock Mr. Stillwell missed the dog and thought he had been stolen. That evening he received a letter that the dog arrived home at 1 o'clock that afternoon, making the trip in seven hours. The incident shows that dogs are close observers or possess a peculiar intuition.
