We observe that the citizens of Harrison county held a public meeting, on the 8th inst., to take into consideration the expediency of adopting measures for the extension, widening and improvement of the North Western Turnpike Road. If our citizens intend moving in reference to this matter, we think it is high time—and we name Monday next, being Court day, as a suitable occasion to adopt measures in regard to this highly important object.—The Harrison meeting entirely concur in the sentiments expressed in the resolutions adopted on this subject at the Frederick meeting.
