Great complaints are made by the people of Martinico of a number of negroes being stolen from that island, and carried off in a schooner from Boston, called the Dolphin, Nathaniel Hickman, master, and Samuel Skinner, owner, who was with the vessel. and is represented as the instigator and perpetrator of the theft. Information has been given of the crime to the tribunal of the admiralty at Fort Royal. The Americans are not a little reflected on by the French. for such unprincipled conduct in one of their nation.
