Coach White Called To Army

Charles White who at the beginning of the school term 1954-55 was Athletic Coach at Douglass High School, has been called to the Army and will leave for his post of duty at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, January 11.

He terminated his teaching services at Douglass Friday, January 7. From there he will go to Tampa, his home town, to visit for a short time with his mother.

Mr. White regrets very much that he must leave Key West just when he had really begun to like it. He says that he would like very much to return to the city upon the expiration of his term of duty in the Army.
