The Army of the N. West.

This idea strikes every man--If the troops of Winchester performed such brilliant achievements under such disadvantageous circumstances, what would they not have done if they had been properly led to battle?

Our men are brave and victory must yet light up on their swords.--Who is in fault? Their officers Hull would not let them fight.' Van Rensselaer & Winchester led them on, precipitated by their own enthusiasm, or the persuasion of their officers. Our commandery must learn subordination, before they can purchase victory.--Our confidence in Harrison is yet unshaken. In a few days we anticipate cheering news from the West.
