Through the efforts of Prof. Courtenay four Remington typewriters, of the 1914 model, have been secured for the use of the high school. No explanation was given as to what influence was exerted in order to induce the Remington people to display such unheard of generosity, but it must have been something fetching as typewriter dealers are not in the habit of letting go of machines unless full value to the last nickel is in sight. The professor is entitled to the thanks of the student body for working the trick.
