Full Text

Miss Ellie Tydings of Ocala, Fla., has for twenty years been in charge of a mission school in Durango, Mexico. Miss Tydings is planning to establish a department of home economics in her school when she returns this summer, and, with this object in view, she has registered in the home economics department of the Florida State College for Women. She expects to be with us during the remainder of the second semester. We are very much gratified that Miss Tydings has found exactly what she wants at our college, and that she makes most favorable comments upon our equipment and the work which we are accomplishing. For, although we have a very good opinion of ourselves, we like for others also to think well of us; and Miss Tydings' opinion is all the more significant and pleasing to us because she has only recently visited Agnes Scott, Brenau and other schools in Georgia.-Woman's College Notes in Times-Union.
