WAREHOUSEMAN IS FINED FOR WEIGHTS
Fuquay Springs, Nov. 18—John Wall, operator of the New Deal Warehouse in Fuquay Springs, was found guilty of two violations of the weights and measures law in recorder's court here and fined $300.
He was convicted of selling less tobacco than the quantity represented on the basket and of offering for sale tobacco that was not weighed by a public weigh master.
State's witness was Elton Phillips, weights and measures inspector for The North Carolina Department of Agriculture.
