Gorki Sends Greetings
THE following greetings came from
Maxim Gorky, world-famous novelist
and the outstanding cultural
shock-brigader of the Soviet
Union:
"Only in the U. S. S. R. are possible
such glorious victories of revolutionary,
organized human energy over the
elements of nature. Only with us,
where there started and where there
is being carried on the struggle for
the emancipation of toiling mankind,
are there such heroes whose wonderful
energy calls forth admiration even
among our enemies."
