City Work-house.

The Directors held their regular monthly meeting yesterday, and transacted the following business:

On motion of Mr. Parker, it was ordered that Messrs. Perin, Gaff & Co. must have their sheds removed by the 1st of February.

The bid for printing the annual report was awarded to Block & Co. at $115.

A communication was read, addressed to the Directors, stating that some of the guards refused to pay their bills. On motion, the Superintendent was instructed to notify the guards in question that they must pay their bills or an action would be brought against them.

Michael Donahue and Mark Smith were ordered discharged.
