WINSLOW, Oct. 25 (AP)- The first westbound plane on the new trans-continental air-mail route from New York to Los Angeles, left Winslow after a 15-minute stop, for Los Angeles at 7:55 tonight, two hours and 40 minutes behind schedule time. It carried a pilot, co-pilot and eight passengers.

NEWARK, N. J., Oct. 25, (AP) -The first eastbound plane of the new trans-continental air-mail line serving Arizona arrived at Newark airport at 6:37 p. m. (E. S. T.) tonight, 12 minutes behind schedule.
