In another criminal offense disposed of this week William Music, of Baltimore, pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny at a hearing before Magistrate Maroney last Friday and was sentenced to serve nine months in the House of Correction.
Music admitted stealing a top coat, a suit, a belt, gloves and a pipe from Richard A. Bird, of Parkersburg, while riding on a Baltimore and Ohio train one evening last week. He got off the train at Oakland. When B. & O. police began searching, Leslie Baker, night policeman here, remembered seeing the man get off the train and recalled him going to the home of a relative here. He was arrested in Baltimore and returned to Oakland for the hearing last Friday.
